The Fair will be held during Holy Week. The purpose of this fair is to promote the activities offered by Vitoria-Gasteiz during this season, expanding the leisure and cultural offerings for both visiting tourists and the local population. Vitoria-Gasteiz is increasingly chosen by a growing number of tourists for their Holy Week holidays, and the fact that it hosts a Craft Fair with a majority of artisans from Álava makes this fair a good showcase and point of sale for promoting local crafts. This strengthens the Álava craft sector and, at the same time, expands the recreational and interesting activities offered by the Álava capital to tourists, allowing them to discover traditional Basque crafts, especially those from Álava, combined with more modern crafts that use more innovative techniques and designs.
