Vitoria-Gasteiz Airport

Vitoria-Gasteiz Airport is located 8 kilometres from the city, in an ideal spot that provides access to Bilbao in less than 45 minutes (58 km) and the Rioja Alavesa region and town such as Hondarribia (121 km) or Donostia-San Sebastián (116 km) in just over an hour. Also known as Foronda Airport and notable since 1994 due to its volume of freight traffic.

Vitoria-Gasteiz airport currently has summer connections to Milan-Bergamo, Cologne-Bonn, Seville, Malaga, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca and the Canary Islands (Tenerife Norte and Las Palmas direct, and the rest of the islands with connecting flights).

Free parking is located a just few meters from the terminal.

The airport has a tourist office.


Buses from Vitoria-Gasteiz Airport to the city centre:

Bus service for Ryanair and Binter passengers to Vitoria-Gasteiz Coach Station and the city centre: Vitoria-Gasteiz Airport Bus.



1st stop: C/ Cadena y Eleta (former Goya petrol station bus stop) - 2 hours before flight departure time.

2nd stop: Vitoria-Gasteiz Coach Station (Bays 4 and 5) - 1h 45’ before flight departure time.

Arrival at airport 1h 30’ before the flight departure time.



Departures from Vitoria-Gasteiz airport 30’ after flight arrival, once all passengers have collected their baggage and bought their bus tickets.

Arrival at Vitoria-Gasteiz coach station 15’ after leaving the airport.

Arrival in Vitoria-Gasteiz city centre 30’ after leaving the airport.
