Every year the Ayala region holds four popular mountain races that attract hundreds of fans from the valley, the rest of Álava and the surrounding provinces.

The athletes participate in trials that take place on land throughout the various municipalities, mainly in Llodio, Amurrio and Ayala, allowing them to enjoy the area’s exceptional natural environment.
This event is held on different dates each year, as it always has to take place on a weekend.
