Zalduondo Rural Carnival - arabaturismo

One of the oldest carnivals in Alava, of which there is news since 1793. Its absolute protagonist is Markitos: A grotesque doll that is impaled in the morning and then, in the afternoon, is paraded throughout the town to be judged and burned in the bonfire under the accusation of being the cause of all the town's ills.
