Its facilities are inside the reception building that stands next to the Benedictine monastery and are divided in four thematic areas that explain the origin of Romanesque Art and analyse its presence in Álava, and with 240 buildings this is the province with the greatest example of this style in the Basque Country.
Saint James’s Way, as it passes through Euskadi and the Sanctuary of Estíbaliz itself, also plays a major role.
The informative exhibition space features a broad spectrum of images, texts, models, facsimiles and audiovisual and interactive programs that bring visitors nearer to Romanesque Art in Álava.
