FesTVal

FesTVal, the Vitoria-Gasteiz Television Festival, is a pioneer initiative in Spain. Started 1st September, 2009, it is the first festival dedicated exclusively to television in all of its formats: competitions, magazines, series, cultural, educational and social programmes, news, entertainment for children, young and older audiences alike, etc.

Each year the most famous personalities from the national television networks gather at this event to receive awards for their work.

FesTVal is intended for the general public and its goal is to make the first week of September a huge celebration of television in the capital of Euskadi, of national and international renown. And also for professionals related to this medium, given that during that week many impromptu one-off encounters occur between creators, screenwriters, producers, distributors, advertisers and journalists.

And all this done with the support of all the national general interest channels and EiTB - Basque public television - in the role as host of the event, with the participation of regional and other non-general interest or paid channels, and various celebrities.
