Lantern Museum

Lantern Museum

Only once a year, on the night of 4th August, did the people of Vitoria have an opportunity to admire the richness of the Lanterns and Carriages that form the Rosary of Lanterns; consequently the Guild considered it necessary to display them continuously to the general public and to Vitorians in particular, leading to the creation of the Lantern Museum. In 2000, after having restored all of the elements involved in the Procession as well as the building in which they are stored, it was opened as a Museum.
